A buddy of mine and I are looking to start a team rather than join one. It would be nice to have a crew that develops, sticks together, and builds rapport over consecutive seasons. This is the perfect team for soccer junkies- someone who wants to play AT LEAST once per week but has a desire to play more (2-3 times per week). That describes me.
Club Objectives
• Create a Men's and Coed Rec Team for year-round indoor and outdoor soccer in the local adult sports leagues and Tournaments beyond (ideally we'd like to compose a team and register for the Summer season)
• Develop a community of soccer players for organizing consistent pick-up soccer games
• Playing a passing-style of soccer focused on sharing the ball using quality passes
Desired Player Qualities
• Understands the ball moves faster when passed than when dribbled
• Enjoys sharing the ball with 1-touch and 2-touch passing
• Sees beyond the ball to teammates and the field
• Consistent off-ball movement
• If on a Rec Team, reliable attendance to team activities
• Formal playing experience is NOT necessary
Rec Team Open Positions: 4-4-2 Formation (when possible)
• The manager of the team (me) plays the #9.
• The coach of the team plays the #10.
• We are looking for:
o 1 Goal scoring forward that I can team up with
o 2 Wings (right and left) and 1 holding/defensive central midfielder
o Entire backline: 2 Center backs and 2 Wing backs
o 1 Full-time Goalkeeper

• This is a new club established for playing soccer the right way. Please no ball-hogs or show-boaters.
• Club “Membership” for participating in pick-up games is free.
• If you’re on the Men’s and/or Coed Rec teams, then you will need to pay an equal share of league/tournament registration fees.
