I am a retired football coach and teacher. I retired just this year after 45 seasons of college, high school and pro-ball coaching in Europe. Along the way, I coached high school and college baseball before quitting as a college skipper in 1997.
As a baseball player, I was drafted twice, played Division 1 baseball, 2 years in the Mexi-Cali league, and retired at the ripe old age of 30 after 11 years here locally in the Western International League.
I am playing on 4 softball teams here in the summer and badly want to keep competing in the fall.
I am a lifetime shortstop. I have become a singles and doubles hitter and can run the pretty well . I suspect that I can most contribute with my glove and field leadership in the future. I welcome you vetting me out!
